Jalapeño Shrimp Poppers
Turn up the heat with these irresistible Jalapeño Shrimp Poppers! Stuffed with creamy, Cajun-spiced cheese, topped with succulent Wild Caught Texas Shrimp and wrapped in savory bacon, they’re the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.
Yields 12 poppers.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 6 large jalapeños
- 12 jumbo Wild Caught Texas Shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 12 slices center cut bacon
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and place a wire rack on top of an aluminum lined baking sheet.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and one teaspoon of the Cajun seasoning in a medium-sized bowl.
- Smear the cream cheese into the halved jalapeños. Top each jalapeño with the shrimp tail up. Wrap with one piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place jalapeños on the wire rack and bake for 35 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through.
