Juicy Gulf shrimp are glazed in a sweet-spicy honey garlic sauce with ginger, soy, and crisp vegetables, then served over fluffy rice for irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large Wild Caught Texas Shrimp, peeled and deveined and buterflied (tails on)
  • 1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup green beans (or similar vegetable)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2–4 tsp sriracha (to taste)

Preparation

  • Pat shrimp dry.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, honey, and black pepper.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, cook onion until softened. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
  • Add vegetables and cook until tender.
  • Pour in sauce and cook, stirring, until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat.
  • Garnish and serve over rice.
