Honey Garlic Shrimp
Juicy Gulf shrimp are glazed in a sweet-spicy honey garlic sauce with ginger, soy, and crisp vegetables, then served over fluffy rice for irresistible flavor.
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 1 lb large Wild Caught Texas Shrimp, peeled and deveined and buterflied (tails on)
- 1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 4–6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup green beans (or similar vegetable)
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2–4 tsp sriracha (to taste)
Preparation
- Pat shrimp dry.
- In a bowl, whisk together cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, honey, and black pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook onion until softened. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
- Add vegetables and cook until tender.
- Pour in sauce and cook, stirring, until thickened.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat.
- Garnish and serve over rice.
